Products
Regular Share Account: For
members over the age of 18. The recommended minimum balance to
open a share account is $25.00. This deposit is equivalent to
5 - $5.00 shares and establishes your membership with Chadron
Federal Credit Union.
Youth Share Account (also called
Kids Klub): For members under the age of 18. The recommended
minimum
balance to open a Kids Klub account is $5.00.
Club
Accounts: These are additional savings accounts that are
separate from your regular share account. A Club Account can
be used for many different reasons such as saving for a vacation,
home repairs, education expenses or just to stash some extra cash.
You may have a maximum of 99 club accounts
per primary membership.
Share Draft Products
Regular Share Draft:
This account earns dividends when the average daily balance is above
$400 throughout a statement cycle. If you maintain the average
daily balance of $400 there are no monthly fees for a regular share
account. If you go below the average daily balance of $400,
the monthly fee for this account is currently $3.00.
Sunshine Share Draft Account:
This account is for members age 55 and over. There are no
monthly fees and this account does not earn dividends.
Student Share Draft Account:
This account is for any age person who is enrolled in school.
Members under 18 will require a parent/adult to be a joint owner on
the checking account. A copy of your student identification will be required to open a
student checking. There are no monthly fees for this account
and it does not earn dividends.
Christmas Club
A Christmas club account functions as
a regular share account. There is no minimum balance required
to open this account. This account is to help you save for
holiday expenses over time. Deposits can be made at your
discretion and a check for the balance in the account will be
automatically mailed to you in late October or early November so you
can begin your holiday shopping.

*Minimum deposit to open an IRA is $100. Dividends are paid
quarterly. Please contact our office for application
information and current fee schedule.
Certificate of Deposit
We offer 90
day, 180 day, 1 year, 18 month, 2 year and 3 year terms.
Minimum deposit to open is $500 for adult owners and $100 for youth
owners. Dividends are paid monthly.
