Share Account (savings account) You will need to keep at least the $25.00 recommended minimum balance in order to take advantage of our great services and rates. Dividends* are paid at the end of each calendar quarter. You will receive a statement showing a transaction summary all your accounts along with a newsletter at the end of each quarter. Click here for current rates. Share Draft Accounts (checking account) Regular Share Draft Accounts. Available to all members.
Student & Sunshine Accounts. Students must present proof of enrollment. Sunshine accounts are for members age 55 and older.
The following are charges that apply to both types of accounts:
Kid's Club We recommend a $5.00 minimum balance. This account are for youth under 18 years of age. This account pays a .25% point higher dividend rate than the adult account. Dividends* are paid quarterly and will receive a statement just like the adult account. Kid's Club accounts will require an adult joint owner. There are special incentives offered throughout the year such as A's Pay. We will deposit up to $5.00 for the first and last report card of each school year for the following grades:
Christmas Club This is a great way to save money for the holiday season. There is no minimum balance for this account. You can deposit or withdraw from this account whenever you like without penalty. Dividends* are paid at the end of each quarter. In early November you will receive a check for the entire amount that is in this account. Individual Retirement Account (IRA) This is a special retirement plan that allows you to set aside a specified amount each year for retirement. All IRA's are governed and ruled by guidelines set by the Internal Revenue Service. We offer the Traditional, Educational, and ROTH IRA's. There are several fees involved with IRA's
Please contact us for more information regarding these IRA's. SEP Account This is similar to an IRA, but is used for self-employed individuals Certificates of Deposit (CD's)
The dividend is fixed for the term of the certificate. Dividends* are paid monthly. There is a 10 day time frame after the certificate matures where you can add money, take out money, or change the term of the certificate without penalty. The penalty for withdrawing before the certificate matures is the greater amount of either one months interest or $10 on every CD other than the 3 year CD. We offer 5 different terms of CD's. *Credit union dividends are the portion of available current undivided earnings of the Credit Union which is set aside after required transfers to reserves, by declaration of the Board for distribution to members. Dividends cannot be guaranteed, unless available earnings exist and dividends are, in fact, declared. Dividends will be paid on a daily balance. The Board of Directors will declare dividends for the current period. Dividends will be quoted as the "current anticipated" rate (rate set for the upcoming dividend period.) All savings accounts, except Certificate Accounts will be considered variable rate account. No dividends will be paid on closed accounts. **Early withdrawal penalty will be the greater amount of either 6 months interest or $10.
